Service delivered: Energy Auditing

ClearLead Consulting was engaged by Airports International Group to carry out an energy audit of Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, Jordan, in support of AIG's application to have QAIA accredited to Level 2 under the Airports Council International's Airport Carbon Accreditation scheme. QAIA has been exanded and features an iconic new terminal building designed by Foster and Partners.

The energy audit was carried out over a week in 2015, and identified a range of energy saving opportunities. These included optimisation of energy systems in the new terminal building, replacing and upgrading of equipment and controls in older parts of the site, and incorporating renewable energy technologies where cost-effective.

The findings were incorporated into the Airport's Carbon Management Plan for presentation to AIG's Senior Management Team.
